Blue Bay - Premier - RCI
Jerry and Bonnie Barber August 19, 2009
We have also been ripped off by Blue Bay/Premier. We have over 8 million points we purchased for $30, 000. Worthless now - no, worse, it will cost money to use them! We are trying to find others who are interested in a class action lawsuit to hold them accountable - at the least, they would get bad publicity. Are you interested? Please contact us if you are. Remember, there is strength in numbers. read full review »

Rockstar Rentals Cabo

I booked a Villa using Rockstarrentals Cabo for a beach Villa. I was dealing with Marco Barrientos. The payment for first installment on the Villa I selected was paid. I received notification from Marco that my second installment was due three weeks before departure. I verified that Villa #1506 was confirmed and the reply was yes. When I arrived a Villa la Estancia, I was told I had villa #1408. I complained and a call was placed to rockstarrentals and I spoke with Tim Vanni. Tim argued that I was confirmined for #1408 but that unit wa... read full review »

Almost finding ourselves to be one of numerous victims of the Cozumel San Miguel Oasis scam, I have decided to dedicate efforts to warn as many people as possible against Ric McCoy, and try to provide blogs for the countless who have already been scammed to tell their stories. Below is my story, but please visit my post at: http://ricmccoy.blog.ca/2009/07/22/contribute-6568443/#c10690968 for more details, helpful links, and to follow my story to find out how I am going to defeat this organization and make sure they don't scam... read full review »

We attended the vacation club presentation at Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta, we brought with us our children. Many employees commented on how wonderful the resort is for children and how Mexico in general is a very family friendly place. The first part of the presentation was an extensive tour of the resort with somebody named Ignacio, nickname “Nacho”, talked about how he maintains contact with many vacation club members and how he makes sure everything is perfect for them when they come to visit the resort. NH KRYSTAL CANCUN

I took a vocation in Cancun, Mexico last Nov. I was offered a free investment presentation with free breakfast at a tourist desk on the street. After arriving the Hotel Krystal Cancun, I was show a studio by a sales man. He explained to me that I could buy 13 power week s with another 25 bonus weeks with total of US$9288. He did not mention any future maintenance fees as well as the differences between the 13 power weeks and 25 bonus weeks. Eventually, on the contract, I have to pay US $521 of maintenance fee each week I use or rent. Also, the... read full review »

I am going to take this opportunity to explain what happened when we purchased this membership. We entered into this contract with Royal Elite on the basis of what was described to us. We believed and trusted what was being told to us particularly where we raised questions to obtain clarification on the terms. We told Royal Elite representatives at the table that we wanted to spend time reading the contract in detail at our hotel. Royal Elite management said that the deal offered to us had to be signed that day or the offer would be... read full review »

Sunset Group-Fisherman's Village

My husband and I were scammed in 2004. We were guaranteed a great investment/rental income opportunity with great availability. And Yes, the yacht club, Sunset inter-club were also part of the deal. If unhappy or disappointed, we would be bought out with the assistance of their sales dept. We have only been able to book Fisherman's Village once. There has been no other availability that fit our requests. So you can forget about rental income. Tried to do an exchange through Sunset inter-club with no luck. THRIFTY Rental Car
RichardFlorida August 1, 2009
When I arrived at Thrifty, they did not have the Dodge sedan I had reserved and confirmed on documents that I showed them. Instead, I had the choice between a 12-passenger van and a mini-van (I am one person on a business trip for a week). I had to take the minivan, as no other vehicles were available. When I inquired, I got the "People are just not returning vehicles" excuse. When I inquired why I was not getting the car I had reserved, I was told "We guarantee the rate, not the vehicle!". My credit card (which worked seveal... read full review »

In October, 2008, I was traveling with my family to the beautiful beaches of Cancun and unfortunately we agreed to attend the sales presentation at the Krystal Resort in Cancun, Quintana Roo. At the conclusion of the presentation, I stated to the sales representative, Marco Olivera that I was not interested in purchasing a timeshare because we own a timeshare with Wyndham. I mentioned several times that we did not wish to invest additional funds in a timeshare. At that point, Marco Olivera, assured us we could make the exchange at no... read full review »

Are any other owners, like me, at Villa del Palmar-Flamingos fed up with the annual 20% increases in maintenance fees for the last few years? Have you also been stonewalled by the operator when you requested reasonable explanations for the increases. Have you been insulted with the line "it's legal"? If so, contact me with your story. I'm a retired accounting and finance professional that has experience in exposing overcharges and dealing with difficult companies. If there are others like me, we need to take united action to avoid future abusive increases. read full review »

General Manager - Park Royal Los Tules Dear Sir, I am the owner of week 01, 6-114, and I would like to express some concerns that I have. I really feel that Los Tules is lacking in some aspects of what a first class destination resort should be. 1. To charge $2US per day for locks to the in-suite safety deposit boxes is petty. 2. To charge $4US per hour for internet service is downright gouging. Even second class hotels in this day and age offer free wireless internet, yet Los Tules does not.
