Hi my name is Cissy and this is a follow up of the first complaint I wrote on this complaint board. I had a very bad plastic nose surgery performed by doctor Milla in February 2007. I am writing this because I have a moral obligation to warn others. Had I paid a little more money to have it done in the United States, I believe, I would still have my nice healthy nose. I am like many Americans that go to Mexico to have plastic surgery. I did not think of what could possibly go wrong. I felt it was more affordable and I trusted this doctor Milla... read full review »

The room was dirty and had a horrible odor. The bathroom at the airport was cleaner than the bathroom in our room. The shower was rusted and there were bugs in the room. We tried to contact the person who we paid to take care of us, but he did not respond. We were followed to our room by a man who was either drunk or on drugs begging for Pesos. We never stayed the night. We checked out and went to another hotel in the area. We had paid for the meal plan, and so far I have tried to contact Perfect Travel Promotions that booked the trip for... read full review »

Reef Playacar
August 8, 2008
This hotel is on the downward slide. Watch out 4 the snakes! The Concierge pushed us for a tour of the club - a timeshare scam, upon our arrival, after 13 hours of traveling. When we refused to sign a commitment the day of the timeshare meeting, Max, a manager for the marketing company, treated us rudely. We booked some tours with a Reef staff member. Alan scammed us out of several hundred USD, and I was unable to take my son fishing, one of the reasons we went to Mexico. I found out that even though Alan wore a Reef shirt and nametag, he did... read full review »

VIP Travel Club
July 30, 2008
Pure bait and switch, misleading tactics. I paid 3500 for 10 wk vacation package. Was told all-inclusive fees were usually optional at many resorts, not true. Also can never get booked in many resorts, inventory availability problems. the fact is that I can always find a better deal doing the non vacation club route. The week package deal they offer sounds like a steal but don't forget the all -inclusive fees. they are not optional but mandatory. this was a lie but how do you prove it. I've complained once but got the run around with... read full review »

E-Z rental Car
July 30, 2008
A few weeks ago I had to rent an automobile at the Atlanta Airport. I made a reservation on line with E-Z Car Rental. I have rented from them in the past year and I am on their preferred list. When I arrived at the Atlanta Airport E-Z Rental Car desk at approximately 9:00 PM and presented my rental confirmation agreement along with my driver license and credit card the clerk told me that she could not rent to me. When I asked why she told me that their computer said that I had either an accident of charge back on my record. I explained... read full review »

Ocean Coral = Porto Morales Cancun Mexico I booked my vacation through Book it on 3-19-08. I requested an Ocean View. (my one request) I have Lupus, and I thought that if the sun became too much that I could at least have a balcony to see my children in the pool or ocean. I asked if upgrading the room would assure a view. The Book it representative put me on hold and called the Hotel, I was then told that my request for the view was noted on my reservation and that I would have a full or partial view. In June 2008 I received information from customer service that I could reduce my monthly payment (by 40.00/mo) for a time share that we were pressured into purshasing during a vacation in February. My husband put over $7000 down and now whenever I try to contact them, we are given a message that they will contact us within 2 days (which does not happen) or to contact them via e-mail which is impossible because we cannot get into their e-mail. At this point, I am trying to reach them to inform them that they are charging me a late charge... read full review »

Timeshares Cancun-Mexico
July 21, 2008
Dear reader, There is no secret that tourism is the mayor industry in this area and with that comes Timeshares, an industry that worldwide has got a bad reputation by many, with high pressure sale pitches and even plain lies in order to make people to buy them and that it don’t work. With that in one hand and in the other having the information that year 2006, 8% of all timeshares sold in the world were sold in Mexico and the developers says that their hotels has an average occupation higher then 70% with people using their... read full review »

The United States State Department has a warning on their website against signing any contract in Mexico without getting proper legal advice. The reason is there are so many problems that Americans are having from getting duped into sales and there is nothing the State Department can do to help get the money back. Amereicans con Americans in America. Americans who move to Mexico also con Americans. Just because they are Americans, don't trust them. Consider the sources of your information. Google any one or company with the word... read full review »

Fairmount Rancho Banderas
June 23, 2008
Fairmount Rancho Banderas significantly increased their Assessment Fees in 2007. I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that realized that the contract we signed as well as section 7.7 of the rules and regulations says that they cannot increase the assessment more than 15% over the previous year? Has anyone out there pursued this matter legally, if so any advise? If not, is anyone interested in pursuing a class action law suit? read full review »

Real Del Mar Sales Office
June 21, 2008
Before ever doing business in this development, carefully research. Search for Real Del Mar Complaints, and Frisas Complaints. They are the owners of the development and responsible for maintaining the grounds and the homeowner associations. Do not use their sales office, they are not responsible for problems when the sellers do not deliver. Do not ever buy property in Mexico without an attorney. Use a good real estate agent, but be careful with that. Coldwell Banker that was in Rosarito went bankrupt and left many without what they were... read full review »

Face and body design by doctor Milla

I went to this doctor in Tijuana, Zona del Rio, Mexico for nose surgery on 02/07. I had my nose broken and I wanted to straightened my nose. Dr. Milla was told right before surgery not to turn my nose up and to leave my Mexican nose. The swelling started to go down after 7 months and I was so traumatized by what I saw he had done to my nose. He took my nose off from the bottom, the front, the sides, the top. He totally disfigured me. I use to take a lot of pictures before this surgery since I was photogenic. Now I look so horrible. It i... read full review »

El Cid
March 6, 2008
They lied to us about the value of our Las Vegas timeshare which they promised to sell for $12,000. We were required to list with Resorts Solutions (a partner in the scam) for $500. I kept reducing the price but it did not sell for $100. We were given 3 weeks at El Cid which we were told we could sell for $2200 each. Again, no sale at $500. We were assured that we bought enough points for a 2 bedroom unit at El Cid & other RCI resorts. El Cid raised the number of points so we are no longer able to get a 2 bedroom unit. read full review »

Sunset Royal / Sunset Lagoon
March 4, 2008
In May, 2007, we vacationed at the Sunset Lagoon, Cancun. While there, we attended a supposedly 90 minute tour which turned into over 5 hours. On the 5th day, we went to the office, again to question the program and were unable to... read full review »

December 20, 2007
My ordeal took place on August 23, 2007 when we too fell victims to the false promises and illegal sale tactics used by Mayan Nuevo Vallarta sales reps.
