I purchased an internet key for my laptop computer which, I was assured by the salesperson, would work in Spain and Italy where I planned on holidaying, as well as in France where I am temporarily living. We were missing one pair of gloves for our part so went to have a look around the stores, they were priced from £35 in the ski hire stores. I purchased a GIP Diesel fuel in France. Almost immediately my car started playing up, the car went into 'limp home' mode. Power was lost and speed severely restricted. These symptoms remained until the car was filled up with a fresh tank of Esso fuel - when the symptoms virtually disappeared. Clearly I'd been supplied with some VERY inferior fuel. We used Allorenta (aka. Paris Sweet Home) to get an apartment a 2 week stay. To make a long story short, the first appartment we booked was not available after we booked it, so we had to book another right before we arrived. In the confusion, we wound up having to pay the appartment owner as well as Allorenta the same agancy fee (about 250 Euros) with a promise that we would get that back upon leaving.
