Hi, I ordered the ebook on line and for an additionl $9.95 ordered the book and then cancelled everything - However, I did not get the hardcover book and yet was charged for S & H.

I did get the refund minus the S &H charge and minus the hardcover book so my question is, will I be getting the4 hard cover book or a refund on the S & H?

Please advise.

I purchased a down load report on Barton Publishing’s website. As some other people pointed out since the order process does not have a preview of what items you ordered, when you realize you accidentally ordered something you don't need, which I think their website is misleading on purpose, it is already too late. I called the company right away to have it taken care of and I was told other charges had been taken out of my account, but my request for a confirmation number of email was denied though. When I received my bank statement, I found out they didn’t do anything for those wrong charges. I called the company today, an unfriendly and impatient woman told me I could not get a refund on shipping and handling, which is ridiculous because I did not order or receive any written material.
When you call the company during their business hours, sometimes there is no body answering the calls and they don't reply to your email request.
Plus there is only a little bit information in their products. I wonder if the good reviews were really written by real customers?
I hope other consumers won't suffer what I suffered, I also hope better business bureau with look into this company.

I cancelled the weekly newsletter and am still being charged via my credit card. I called last Wed and talked with a person who said the e-Newsletter and the WellnessWatchersMD were both cancelled.

I've been scammed by Barton Publishing and WellnessWatchers MD as well. I originally ordered a "booklet" from Barton and a month later noticed an unauthorized charge on my Visa of $9.95 from Barton Publishing and $29.95 from WellWatchersMD who I hadn't even dealt with. I immediately contacted Barton and they said they'd cancel my unauthorized subscription to whatever it was, which they did. However, nothing was done about the WellnessWatchersMD charge and it has now appeared on two more Visa bills. I've been away and missed seeing last months but just noticed the newest charge on my latest June invoice. I called the number mentioned above and they guy said that all he could do was refund two of the three fraudulent charges.

I encourage everyone who's been scammed by these frauds to contact their bank AND credit card to report this matter on both companies. It wouldn't hurt to print out these complaints and others that are also on the net to show to the bank so we can get their credit card privileges revoked.

I should have know this was an unscrupulous, criminal company by the way they wouldn't let me simply purchase the one item I did want, but instead kept a long series of confusing pop-ups appearing.

I ordered an online document on GERDs for $19.95 US through this company's website a month ago. In the process of submitting the order a number of pages popped up asking if I agreed to many other items such as subscriptions at various costs which I did not wish to purchase. I selected "NO" at the bottom of each page but the site continued as if I had selected Yes. Within the next few days the bill for the original item showed up on my credit card and then another bill showed up for the those items which I did not want and did not purchase. I phoned the 1-800 number which was next to the billing only to be told there was no record of my purchase. I was then given a different number to call Barton Publishing directly. At this number I got a voice message giving the business hours. I then e-mailed the customer support for Barton publishing and received an apology and a promise they would refund the extra amount. Time will tell if this actually happens. I wish I had read all the reviews of this scam company before I submitted my credit card number to them.
