BrainBetting.com Reviews

Internet competition scam
Brainbetting.com scam

You all can take the following statement as a warning or as a recommendation ! Last year, more precisely in November, I signed up and participated into a online tipster competition on the www.brainbetting.com website.
The competition rules posted on the site and on other internet websites were the following: As a basic requirement, BrainBetting.com asked all the participants to open themselves an account on www.888sport.com, an online betting site. Also BrainBetting stated that 888sport.com is the official sponsor of the competition. The prizes were in a total sum of 500Euro. 1 place - 250E, 2nd place - 150E and 3rd place 100E. The competition was scheduled to take place between 15th of October - 30th of November 2010.

The www.brainbetting.com ad that circulated on the internet was the following:

" Do you have capping in your blood? Ever felt you can be a pro? Ever wanted to get involved in the betting industry which is undergoing a continuous development and opens up a host of opportunities? Are you READY for the 500 EUR pot? We proudly invite everyone to take part in our monthly tipping contest."

And the advertisements for the tipster competition continued...

" The contest is sponsored by leading online sportsbook 888Sport. The first set of competition will run between 15th of October - 30th of November 2010. The funds prize is 500 EUR! The prizes will be paid in your 888Sport account. 1st placed will get 250 EUR, 2nd placed will get 150 EUR, and 3rd placed will get 100 EUR."

NOW, two months after I finished 3rd in this tipster competition I still have no sign of prizes. I sent numerous e-mails to brainbetting.com but they ignored the majority of them. When they answered, they simply blamed 888sport. From that moment everything smelled like a huge scam. After I contacted 888sport.com, the ones that should had credited the prizes into our accounts, I was astonished to find out that actually www.brainbetting.com and 888sport.com didn't had any agreement or deal regarding the tipster contest.
Now, my question is: How is it possible that a company (www.brainbetting.com) to start and to officially advertise a fake competition, to force the contestants to open accounts to a certain betting agency (in this case www.888sport.com), to issue a public set of competition rules and in the end everything to be just a scam? I mean, can someone help me here? Are there any legal means to make an official complain about this particular case?
If I do not take further action now, in the future (because www.brainbetting.com started already a new monthly competition with the same rules and promises in which already 13 participants take part without knowing that they lose their time, they invest their hopes and their money for nothing) others will suffer.
So please in the future be aware when choosing to trust or not www.brainbetting.com !!! From what they have shown so far, brainbetting.com is nothing more than a scam website. So please, once again, try and keep yourselves as far as possible from www.brainbetting.com !!!
