so here I am, sitting in a hospital in alberta canada, thousands of miles away from tiauanna where 3 weeks ago my mom got a mini gastric bypass operation performed by Dr. Sergio Verboonen. a doctor who lives in San Diego California, but performs his operations in tiauanna Mexico at a fraction of the price you would pay in your North American home town...
why so cheap? well, for one he cannot be sued should something go wrong like in our case. so his insurance premiums must be cheap.
two, unless you are willing to spend 1000's on flights and accommodations, follow ups are not required as they are with ANY OTHER SURGIRY PERFORMED ON THE PLANET(excluding Dr. Sergio Verboonen's office) and that's providing you can book one through his "assistant" who never returns calls or emails should your attempt to reach them sound like anything other that paying for another SURGery.

people!!! listen to your family, consult with your doctor. these operations are extremely dangerous if not performed in a professional manner, documented with operative notes and followed up regularly with your performing surgeon. your literally rolling the dice on your life going to Mexico to save money on weight loss.

so here we are, 1 week in hospital. moms being administered morphine for pain( a drug that literally paralizes the stomach and bowels from performing there necessary movements) while the doctors here try to figure out what is going on as this surgery is new and not performed or approved in canada.
I could go on forever about this but the point I'm trying to make, is the one my mom now understands.
RESEARCH what you are doing. if it doesn't make sense don't try to make it work.

read these reviews, don't just skim through and look for the good ones. read them and keep in mind if your not reading something sincere, chances are its a bogus review with a stolen picture to fabricate authenticity.
