W2
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MY W2 AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. I HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE PAYROLL DEPARTMENT AND THE ONLY THING I HEAR IS PAY 10.00 TO HAVE A REPRINT FOR MY W2. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO ASK FOR A REPRINT OF SOMETHING THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. WHEN I USED TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY IT WAS HORRIBLE AND NOW I FEEL LIKE THIS COMPANY IS GOING TO TRY TO MAKE ME PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD NOT PAY FOR. EVERYONE I USED TO WORK FOR HAVE GOTTEN THEIR W2 EXCEPT ME I AM GETTING FUSRATED AND I AM THINKING ABOUR HIRING A LAWYER. I THINK IT IS TIME FOR THIS COMPANY TO STOP TRYING TO GET OVER ON PEOPLE.

Disatisfied customer
On November 30, 2007 while shopping at the Ross Department store located at 4032 Grand Ave. Chino Hills, CA I wanted to try on several items before purchasing. I was told by the young lady working in the dressing room that in order to try on any garments in the store I had to see the manager first. This made me very upset, the reason I was given, the manager was the only person in the store that could take off the magnetic security alarm which was attached to the garment. I immediately went to see the manager and question why would any store have the customer wait to see the manager in order to try on a garment. His response was for security reasons this is a store policy. I have never seen this policy practice at any other Ross store. Two employees told me that several customers have left the store because they didn’t have time to look for the manager. Can Ross afford to loss customers?
To make matters worse I purchased over $200 in merchandise and was told by the manger, that it was also a store policy that customers couldn’t take carts out of the store to there car. One of the items I purchased was a 15 pound iron wall picture. How could any store make a customer carry a 15 pound item without a cart. I told the manger that I would be filing a complaint. I have never seen customers treated like this in any store, and I have no intentions of ever going into another Ross Store again.

Horrible service!
HORRIBLE Service. In which trailer park they find employees??? No MANNERS at all, not even basic business communication skills are represented. I have been a customers for years since I can always find a bargains there. I am not happy about this store, but I am OK to shop there because of bargains. Today they were unbelievable rude to me. I always shop with my yorkie girl (for those who don't know - yorkies are recommended for people with allergy problems) with NO problems at ALL. My dog is very intelligent and well behaved. She was in STROLLER that always is CLOSED inside any stores.

The security guy named W. (or whatever, with blond hair and short/ fat), SAW how my hubby was dropping me by the store, how my husband WAIT for us for a few minutes until we were gone inside the store. And after my husband left, he REFUSED me to come inside. As a result I was waiting for my husband by the door for next two hours.

When my husband came back, I went inside, asked for manager to show a store policy, and I was refused. She absolutely cannot communicate with customers. Trash! Interrupted me and didn't care a word I was saying. I don't know who is responsible for hiring peope in this store, they should be shape for hiring people like that, but I will make sure that those people, who were rude to me, will be hired. I am not that type of person who accept this service, and they WILL pay back.

It happened on Saturday, December, 9 appx. 12 pm.

Disasterous Store
I have lived in Bellingham for six years now and have not been able to shop at Ross Dress for Less. The store looks like a bums yard sale with clothes, bedding, shoes, etc strewn all over the place. You couldn't push a cart in any of the isles even if you tried. I've been to Ross Dress For Less in Idaho and have never seen such beautiful stores. I don't understand why the Washington stores can not be ran the same way. The employees look like people off the streets, dressed shabily and you have to wait in line for an hour most times to even purchase something. I would think the company would make alot more money if they offered a much more appealing store to shop at with higher classed looking employees, not to mention the store carries clothes that are crap. Whoever does the ordering for the store does not follow the commercial ads on T.V. for products. I would love to be able to shop in our store in Bellingham but will not and I am not the only one who feels this way. I am writing on behalf of at least 100 other people, all whom I either know personly or have spoken to as they have left the Ross store without purchasing anything.

Filthy Merchandise
I have been to several stores in Salem, Oregon and Portland Oregon. Each time finding Used,Filthy items on the shelfs and hanging on racks. The worst is when I found a Pair of Mens Boxer Briefs. That were Stained with blue tranfer stains from obious wear. They also had human bodily stains as well.
To top it off the were marked at Full Price. I reported it to an Employee and got this look of confusion. Then the Employee had the nerve to asked what I wanted them to do with the Underwear.
I asked that she call the manager over so i could speak with him. The manager came and spoke with me. Was i suprised to here the answer to my question. As to why and how could any store put this garment out to be sold to any customer. His reply was simple " I have no idea how these underwear got tagged or put on the rack." Then he gave the Employee a funny look and walked away. Not another word.
I have since check everything over while there in the store. I've only been twice with my sister since then. I have yet to get over what happened. I have never had this hapen to any store that i have ever shopped in before. The Company need to put some kind guide line as to what they will put back on the shelf.

Poor service!
I went to the Ross Dress for Less on Campus Way South in Kettering MD with my mother, who was in a wheelchair, and my daughter. When we went to the fitting room to try on some clothes, we found that there was only one handicap dressing room but it was not labeled with a handicap sign on the door. There were some other people in the stall who were not handicapped so we waited a while and then notified the fitting room attendant of the circumstances. She then asked the people occupying the stall to relocate to another one. Upon entering the handicap stall, we found that while the stall was equipped wall rails it was not large enough to accommodate the maneuvering of the wheelchair. In addition to that, there were no hooks on which to hang the clothing. The floor of the dressing room was very dirty and looked as if it had not been swept or mopped in quite a while. The merchandise in the store is often all over the floor or not securely placed on hangers. Sizes are frequently mislabeled. I purchased a pair of pants where the hanger indicated that the size was 6 but the pants were actually a size 10. When I tried to exchange the pants for the correct size the store did not have any but in the course of searching, I found other mislabeled clothing. The store did refund my cost for the incorrectly sized pants.

Filthy store, rude employees!
Ross Dress For Less is the filthiest stores I have ever been in. I have tried 3 of these stores to only find that it seems things are very out of control. Their employees haven't got a clue as to the price of just about anything. And the employee's attitudes leave a frown on your face as you leave and if I could have made my way back into these filthy stores, I would have returned everything I've ever bought there. Something needs to be done. Rudeness is unprofessional and to say the least, these stores are making money off of people and can't even give a thanks in return. Fire all the employees, clean up the stores and then maybe the next people they hire just might give a damn. Ross should be paying us for putting up with their crap instead of making money off the little people.

Inaptly run their stores
I just came back from the Ross Dress for Less store on La Brea and Sunset. I left after realizing that there was one cashier open and the line was down the aisle. I asked them if they were going to open another register and he looked at me as if I had two heads. How and why does a store stay in business with such little help. I left the pack of clothes I was going to buy in the shopping cart. They lost money on me and several other customers. It wouldn't cost them that much to hire a few retired people in the neighborhood or some high school kids to work the register. I have no idea how to get in touch with Ross for Less but I wonder if they know how inaptly their stores are being run.

Dishonest management
I was employed @ the ross on commercial and dixie, off oakland park blvd. My manager went on vacation mrs. J. Martinez. The day before spring break I found out it was spring break so I asked my assistant manager what to do?"She said well do what you have to do" I told her I have always been home with my children so this was never a problem for me.I wrote a letter stating that due to lack of knowledge and having no child care that I will not be able to attend work for the week of spring break and that I apologize for the inconvenience. My assistant manager approved it and I took the week off. When the manager returned from spring break she fired me before spring break was over so I called Mr.Volger from corporate office. He was supposed to Talk to J.Martinez because the assistant manager told the manager that she approved the week of spring break but j. martinez fired me even after hearing the truth. I wanted justice for her unprofessional actions. Mr.Volger never called back!I saw a ex-coworked who informed me of a number to call the complaint on no-good managers, so I called a young lady named Beth, she too has never called me back! So I decided until I can get a new job I would file for unemployment,so I did. Today I get a letter in the mail stating that I did not have proper authorization for an absence(this is a lie!!!) so they denied me. I want to fight this how can I get help for this situation FAST, because J.Martinez is lieing and J.Williams told her the truth in my presents and now she has LIED to government. This has got to be illegal and I need a professional to help me on this discredit of an honest persons characteristics and honor that is undeserved based on some womens spiteful, disrespectful and unprofessional character!I need HELP ME HOWARD!

Worst place, rudest people!
I went to the Ross store on 75th Avenue and Bell in Arizona today and I found a white skirt and there was no price on it. I went up to the line and there were 20 people standing and the lines were not moving and asked someone if they knew where I could go to find out the price of the skirt. She told me that I would have to wait my turn in line and then I would get the pricecheck. I waited in line for 20 minutes. I watched Anna, the cashier drop one of the pots that a few people ahead of me was buying and she didn't even apologize. She said that the top usually is on there harder. So finally my turn comes up and they call Nelly to do a pricecheck. She comes up 10 minutes later with a blue skirt, looking remotely NOTHING like the skirt I want to purchase and tells me that the skirt is $12.99. I said to her "this skirt looks NOTHING like the white one." So she said "okay, you can have it for $9.99. I was appalled and asked Anne if that was the way that Ross did things, just makes up prices? If that was the case, I wanted the skirt for $7.99. Anne said "Have you ever seen the way the store is? There is stuff everywhere, it is impossible to find anything." How is that professional customer service? I said not my problem. The skirt could have easily went into my purse because it's not even being accounted for. I asked her if they just make up prices? Is that the way it works? Where is the book with the UPC's like any other store would have? Then Anne lost her patience with me and said "do you want the manager?" I said "no, I want you to stop your tone with me." I paid for the skirt and went into my car seething and called the store to speak to the manager. The joke was on me. Good old Nelly who can't figure blue from white answered as the manager. Now I can't even find the corporate office online to complain. It wasn't the fact of the price of the skirt, but what kind of business conducts like that when they "make up" prices for their apparel? I didn't appreciate the way I was treated either. The place is a dump, impossible to find anything on the racks. Once, a friend of mine broke something and we ended up cleaning it ourselves because no one would bother to get us a trash can and mop. Another time, I used their filthy facilities and a cockroach was on the wall. Why do places like these pop up everywhere and why are they shorthanded and hire the RUDEST people...
