Pickles
I am an avid Subway customer and probably visit the chain 2 to 3 times a week, which is why I was frustrated when I had to fight with the employee over some extra pickles.

I went into the store and got my regular sub. I only get five of the numerous vegetables on my sub. I asked for lots of pickles and the girl proceeded to give me three. I asked for more and she gave me two more. She asked what else I would like on my sub and I asked for more pickles and sub sauce.

She proceeded to begin a two minute long rant about why she could not give me any more pickles. She actually refused to give me more pickles on my sub.

It was ridiculous, what is the world coming to that you can't get a couple mislay pickles on your sub. I will definitely NOT be visiting that subway again, I'll go to Mr. Sub.

Very rude manager at Brannon Crossing Subway
Very rude manager at Brannon Crossing Subway in Nicholasville, KY. She kept insulting one of her employees last time I was in, calling her stupid. This lady is very rude and mean. I've seen many employees come and go because of her attitude. Please look into this lady. I knew who she was from her last job at a Shell in Lexington where she was let go while an investigation ensued about her stealing.

mistreated
I was misteated when it was my turn to be served, the food was served terribly and the woman refused to serve me again, and the woman who served me refused to give me her name but I took track of the time and date, and here it is 06-24-10 9:25pm. When I returned so that she could serve me again better this time, she told me they were closed and refused to serve me.

sandwich not made proper to eat
i went there so many times and even enjoyed my sandwich but once the owner changed the subway manager named Mr. Ajay...He is not a good manager as first, he dont know how to talk to the customer...he was very rude...insulted me...for telling him that he has not closed the sandwich properly and i was unable to eat the sandwich which he did not bothered to even close the sandwich, so i asked him to do so and he replied me...that he knows very well how to make the sandwich and i dont need to teach him...this was his reply and then he said if you want to make any complain he will give me the owner's number...he was a very bad guy with no sense how to talk to customers and instead he would make the business bad if der is a manger like him instead of doing goood or increasing the business...Worst Manager!!! I even recommend other people to avoid going to this subway ...

Not as healthy as you think
"At SUBWAY ® sandwich shops, we take pride in serving you a variety of products from manufacturers of the highest quality." This is the statement on the above website. But take a look at the ingredients. Here are examples: 9-grain wheat bread has HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP in it. Sourdough bread has HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP in it. In the Cold Cut combo, the Turkey Bologna has "mechanically separated turkey. Whereas on most organic foods you will RECOGNIZE most (if not all) of the ingredients, check out these that are in subway items:

propylene glycol (egg-omelet-patty)

sodium erythorbate (turkey-ham)

sodium diacetate (black forest ham)

sodium tripolyphosphate (seafood sensation)

artificial color (cheddar cheese)

yellow #5 (banana peppers)

red #40 and blue #1 (red wine viniagrette)

Does this REALLY sound healthy?

Don't play employees for time worked.
My daughters first job was at the Trenton Subway. She was a very dedicated employee. She was not old enough to drive at the time so I would take her and pick her up . I would watch all of the teens punch out on the time clock at 9pm as they were told to and then they had to START cleaning the place up. They were required to work until 11 pm, under the supervision of the owner and managers. I asked my daughter about this but she told me not to question them because she was afraid and scared of the owner and what he might do. He has fired a few employees for questioning it. I did call the state of wisconsin workers rights dept. but without more than one or two complaints there is nothing they could do about it. All of the kids are to afraid to file a complaint. My daughter did quit there, and has found a much better job.
What kind of experience is this for our children to have when they are at their very first job.
Stay away from that subway, and maybe he will finally be put out of business.

scam, drug usage
The manager sells and uses cocaine. As an ex-employee i was promised a raise and never recieved one. i was also treated as a nuisance for asking why it wasn't recieved. I find it very unprofessional for a manager to snort amphetamines something must be done.

Bad customer service
Went to Subway presented a coupon for a free breakfast sub at Calgary, Alberta location and was told to use it next time. When asked for a manager i was told that the manager (Jay) was in a dance class and nothing could be done.

Called Subway to put my complain and they did nothing. I was told that subway can refuse there own coupon.

I was also denied a cookie when I presented them with Subways own cookie coupon that i got with my drink during a subway drink promo.

My complaint was sent Jan 18, 2010. I am still waiting.

Ingredients
Subway's slogan "Eat Fresh" is far from that.
High Fructose Corn Syrup in the bread. How fresh is that. That's processed junk that does nothing but make us eat more and get fatter. We don't want you HFC's Subway, so ditch the evil nasty ingredient once and for all.
If there are HFC's in the bread, there is reason to suspect that there is nitrates and hormones in the lunch meat too. How about the fresh vegetables?? Probably have pesticides on them...all of them. And is it possible that there is hydrogenated oils in the cheeses and dressings and hormones in the milk????? They snuck that HFC crap in under our noses so anything is possible.
Try organic everything guys. This way we know we are getting only the freshest ingredients possible.
