I rented a 1 bedroom apartment from Villa Rita beginning 09/10/09 ending 05/10/10 with a $200.00 security deposit which has not been returned even though I sent a written request for its return or an explanation as to why it wasn't being returned. I was accused by the owner of stealing a tea pot which in actuality I dropped on the floor, broke & trashed, as well as accused of breaking a recliner which was already broken when placed in my apartment. I was tested for & parasites were found in my body just before I vacated the premises. I learned through observation that while I was drinking water I thought was safe through the property's well and city water system, the owner's family was drinking bottled water. Beware that the swimming pool filter is not run consistently & frequently. Photos that show the drive as having beautiful tall pine trees is false advertising as they were cut down some 3 years ago. I gave the owner back the lamp shades in the unit as they were dirty, dingy & depressing; they were never replaced. The bedroom mattress needed replacing. Finally, wifi hook up is inconsistent given the adult daughter's temper tantrums.
