Horrible customer service. I shopped at the Walmart 0471 Lancaster TX on 2/21/10. Spent almost $200. Cashier did not greet me, did not thank me, could not LIFT the 20 lb container of cat litter off of the counter - just let it sit there until I said something (to which she responded, "uh, I caint lift it..."), AND - here is the clincher - forgot to take off over $9 worth of coupons!!! Wait - it gets worse. Realizing the error AFTER I got home, I called immediately and spoke to several customer service/management people. NOT ONE PERSON gave me their name or apologized for the error. NOT ONE!!! NOT ONE PERSON asked my name either. Excuse me, but who does your CSR training???? The absolute number one rule of great customer service is to get the customer's name and USE IT. The second rule is to ACKNOWLEDGE the customer's problem!!! How easy is this?? You say, " I am so sorry that happened. Let me try to correct this for you." So simple - you don't have to admit any guilt, just ACKNOWLEDGE that there is a problem!!!

Bottom line is I had to return to the store. I HAD TO RETURN TO THE STORE!!! I did nothing wrong but I had to drive 20 min. EACH WAY to get my money for the coupons that your cashier MISSED. I even asked that they be mailed to me so I could just use them on a future purchase. BUT NO! I was told that "we don't mail anything." Say what??? AND - I had to go thru the receipt and name off the coupons. Why didn't she go to the cashier to see if they were there? They should have been since they weren't redeemed yet. But NO! The customer service rep told me the cashier "puts the coupons in an envelope, and she don't know which ones would be mine." Really? Then how did they all mysteriously appear after I held for 15 minutes waiting to find out what Walmart was going to do to resolve this?? 15 minutes. Then I was told "ma'am, I have your coupons.(Really? then why can't you MAIL them to me??) But you have to come back to the store to get your money." Why can't they just credit my account? I could provide receipt numbers, etc. This is an incredible example of POOR customer service. I wouldn't be so upset except - guess what? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT'S HAPPENED!!! That's right - I have been thru this before! One time I called and the CSR told me I would have to bring the ITEMS back as well! Can you imagine?? I am sure the general manager does not work on Sunday. Maybe he should. This store is not a pleasant place to shop. IF I continue shopping with Walmart - and I may not - I will drive 15 extra miles to go to Desoto. I want my money to stay in my community, but not if it means lousy service. And I will tell my friends - but truly, most of them stopped shopping at this location years ago. I will pay more at Tom Thumb, but the customer service is world class. Watch out because those of us who can afford to shop elsewhere will do so.

1/4 full vitamins
I bought 4 bottles of chewable vitamin c 2 1n dec.<br />
they were on sale, so I stocked up!<br />
I just cracked the seal on a new bottle, <br />
THERE WERE ONLY 15 IN A 60 COUNT BOTTLE<br />
I tell it seems you cant trust anything anymore!

Prices
Wal Mart may have at one time been the "saving place", but don't let this lure your into their price gouging.

For example, black oil sunflower feed for birds runs 34 cents per pound at Southern States. You pay over 50 cents per pound at Wal Mart

I have tried to get them to match prices on this and other items, but they just ignore you.

care security i did not want it buy they gave it to me any way.be for i know it i pay in oven $1000.00. we were paying in on it. & not useing the card .but the bill was getting higher. makeing high paymand the was not going down.becase i was paying on the int. all so finance charge.the the payment i made did not cover these to. to say nothing of the bill.now i have $378.91 overlimit fee.thats to say nothing of the int.thats out of this world.i god knows what the lates fees are.there not on the bill.

can not return
MY SON PURCHASED A RIFLE FROM WAL MART AND THE NEXT DAY WHEN HE WENT TO FIRE IT IT WOULD NOT WORK. WE TOOK IT BACK TO WAL MART AND WAS TOLD THEIR WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. HE HAD THE RIFLE LESS THAN 24 HOURS.ONE ON THE EMPLOYEES GOT SMART WITH HIM AND SAID THEY DIDNOT MAKE THE GUN THEY JUST SOLD IT. THEIR WAS A SIGN IN THE BACK AREA WHERE GUNS WERE SOLD THAT SAID ALL FIREARMS SALES ARE FINALE BUT IT WAS HALF HIDDEN . EVEN THE PERSON WORKING IN THE GUN AREA HAD A VERY BAD ATTITUDE. SOMEONE WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING FINALLY SHOWED UP AND THE FIREARM WAS SENT OFF TO BE REPAIRED. I HAVE SHOPPED WITH WAL MART FOR YEARS AND SPENT ALOT OF MONEY THERE. I WILL NOT SHOP AT WAL MART ANYMORE.

Slavery
I too, work for "Wal Mart".
I am a Cart pusher/Wrangler/Courtesy Associate. We get pushed like slaves out in the Freezing and Rainy weather. All them Managers care about is themselves. They stand around all day, talk with other people and complain when something doesn't go their way. To tell you the truth, If I didn't have enough self control I'd explode in front of that store almost every hour.
Over Christmas now, the last 3 days before it. It as been raining non stop around 35*f . I worked all 3 days in the pissy ass weather. Soaken wet, that even my socks are now faded blue from my Jeans. I have got a massive headache, my throat hurts and it feels like every bone in my body got crushed. You know what "Wal Mart" would say? "Come to work! If ya aren't dead you can work!" Well guess what, I am to the point of telling my employer how things really are. I am not a god damn 10th Century slave and they just don't get that!
Cart Wranglers are the lowest paid, physical labor jobs you'll know. I'd much rather work for some other company that "Wal Mart"! I also would not recommend anyone this job. If ya have enough dignity, find you a better job.
I am a well educated young man that figured: "Hey Wal Mart has great benefits lets get a job there. As for my fellow CO-Workers would say. YOU PICKED THE WRONG PLACE TO WORK FOR!!!

Good Luck to all of you who experience the same kind of crap, that comes from your employer.
I've been working well over 8 years now, and this is by far the worst employer I've had other than the McDonald's in Heber-Springs also.

did not receive my 1000 gift card
I got a text on my phone and i called them they got my information and took the shipping for them to send me my gift card. I have not gotten it yet and they should have sent to me a long time ago. Who do i contact to find out how to get my gift card.

MoneyGram
I purchased a Moneygram money order from WalMart. I made it payable to Riverside County Animal Shelter for my dogs license, however I received it back from them stating our city animal licenses were taken care of through another animal shelter.

I took the money order and the receipt back to the Walmart where I had purchased it. The "assistant manager" told me they wouldn't give me my money back even though I told her that I had already called Moneygram and was instructed to write on the back of the check "not used for purpose intended" then endorse it with my name.
She obviously was an idiot. I was very angry which prompted her to be nasty, telling me that if she wanted she could just tell me to go to another store, etc. etc. Telling her again obvious just pissed her off. My husband stepped in and told her she could talk to him. After calling in another "assistant manager" who knew less than the first one, this assistant manager told my husband "why don't you take the money order to the animal shelter and see if they will cash it for you".
Then told him "well we haven't taken the Moneygram class yet, we will know more after we take it". So in other words no one at any of the Walmarts I went to for this situation knows or cares about how to take care of this.

I was at the wal mart on Black Friday to try and purchase a laptop.I arrived at 330 knowing that the sale didn't start until 500a, I went to the area with the map and was told that the vouchers for the laptops were all gone. Since when did Walmart have this type of sale going on. I have been to Walmart on Black Friday several times, and this has never happened, when did they change there rules for Black Friday sales. I have shopped at walmart several times, this had made me very mad and dont know if I will continue to shop there. I know I am only 1 person but I am very upset with your new policy.. Pat Hanna
