My husband purchased online a pair of 14k White Gold Diamond-Cut hoop earrings from Tommy's Jewelry Store. After only wearing the earrings about a dozen times one of the hoops broke in half and the other one has a crack and is about to break also. Oddly, I was billed two days after the order was placed (first red flag) I have emailed, and called (voice mail-suprise), and have not received a refund. This is a scam. They send you items you never ordered and charge you a fortune for something that isn't even worth $5. It looks like they go by Haute Jewelry Direct, SHOPDANI.com and Modern Readers. All of which are located in Evanston, IL. I've already rec'd (2) $89 charges on my account. I've tried calling several times and have left several messages. Have not received a single call back. I applied for this on the internet. Less than 24 hours later I called to cancel. At no time during our conversation did the person tell me that I needed an RA number to return this. I have been a distributor for Ardyss for a couple months now and dealing with returns that are "defective" have been a nightmare. 90% of the bodymagics I have sold have been defective. The snaps went crooked for two of them in one week and the hooks on another were pulled out so the abdomen is showing. And the others have been smaller than their measuring chart size. It is going on a month and have not received a refund on my items they guaranteed as a refund.
