Indian Community School Amman Branch, Salmiya (Kuwait) was supposed to distribute LKG forms from 14th-16th Dec 2010, 8am - 10am with form costing KD5. I went to get the form for my child at 7-50am today and to my utter surprise the gates were closed. The forms have been sold out for today. I took the test, and oh my gosh, I got an credidation for algebra, writing, and reading. I also passed with a 3.50 GPA. West Coast University is charging it's students $130, 000 for a BA in dental hygiene and nursing and it's not even recognized by other universities. Cost for tuition (only), not including kit and books, breaks down to $4200 per class plus cost of books and supplies. There is NO cafeteria and most students have to park at a satelite because the parking lot is so small. I had a horrible experience with this firm. I was told it was like Mindspring or PsiSeminars, but it was not. They claim to want to spread transformation, but it felt more like all they cared about was getting my daughter to go out with them. I am a student at Cal Poly Pomona. I am unhappy because the course requirements listed as 24 units to complete the program. However, They added 6 more units after any student got accepted. I wish they disclose all the required courses at the beginning so students can make a better decision whether to attend there or at other institutions. But after waiting for a "Degree" for over 2 months, calling everyday for information, having different people telling you different things, it got very annoying and tiresome. Heald 'for-profit' college states on their website: "Because Heald is regionally accredited, it has articulation agreements with other regionally accredited institutions that accept Heald credits toward bachelor’s degree programs. This means that you can transfer your credits if you choose to pursue further education.*" Before a student enrolls at Heald they SHOULD check with four year accredited colleges first. I attempted to gain access to advertized information regarding Ashworths school. I filled out the form, indicating that I have a Master's degree already, but I am interested in gaining education in forensic science to go with my current degrees. I am VERY disappointed with the career services department at Kaplan College Vista Campus. I started working with career services in June even before I finished my externship. I graduated with a 4.0 in August. I have deligently called my rep and went in to the office at the campus. I have done mock interviews and updated my resume as I was instructed to do. When I found out, it was 2 weeks into the online course. I told her to cancel immediately, since we had NO money to afford such a commitment.
