I have been laid off since April 2010. I can not get a job without some type of college education. I have been told by one school that I did not get the Federal Pell Grant because I dont have children. I medically can not and could never have children. Not my choice but, If I purchase realestate (Property) I have to pay school taxes for everyone elses children. I have been told by another school that if you dont lie on the FAFSA you will not get the grant either. So if you are honest, white, and have no children you get nothing. I have a good mind to take the Federal Pell Grant People to court for discrimination. WHO out there thinks its right or fair that women that can not have children have to pay school taxes for people that do have them, yet can not get a Federal grant to go back to school nor can I get any Federal/Government assistance of any kind all because I can ot have children. This is so wrong. Honestly I feel the Government should pay me for not having kids. There are so many people out there that have kids and dont take care of them or dont want them so they drown them or kill them or throw them in the dumpster yet I am the one being punished.
