I attend Foothill College Online. The school is withholding my Summer and Fall Loans. I got injured and had to request for an Incomplete in the Summer. CTS Canadian Career College, seemed like a good college at first. But they were just selling me with the line "Why would you do a two year program, when you could get to work in 10 months?". However the credits are not transferable, the staff are rude, and uncooperative. I reported fraud to my employee, the department of Education in August. None of my e-mails were responded to. In the paper, I read that about 20 teachers are in the same situation as me. Our pay slips, banking details, ID copies were stolen from the department of education and used for fraud. This is a site that promised they would find employment for over 90% of people who took their medical transcription course. I took their course twice (was told the first time that someone had lost my schoolwork) and got an A both times. But on the phone when I called to ask them to help me find employment they dismissed me with "it's hard to find medical transcription jobs". They did nothing at all to help me find work. Students that attend evening school, do not have instructors. They take the teachers that have been there since 7:00 a.m. and expect them to teach evening students until 10:00p.m. Most of the time the teacher is so tired she lets students leave at 8:30 or you just dont get taught.. On two separate occasions, I have been given what was supposed to be a disbursement of leftover funds for my grants and pell grants, only for the school to say that I wasn't supposed to be given that money and I had to pay it back immediately. I called the Texas Department of Education and they personally told me that this school is not accredited with the U.S. Department of Education. CHI Institute in Broomall PA rips off students by enrolling in them in healthcare courses that REQUIRE an internship but when it comes time for the internship Kaplan doesn't have any and drops students from its school. Where to start ? Admission requirements as stated are the norm for massage schools, grade 23 biology etc. The reality is the only entrance requirement is that you pay Dr. Sohrab Khosbin $3000 of the $10, 000 for the course. The remaining $7000 is due asap. As required by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, you need 2200 hours in school to qualify for their exam, at best you get 500 hours at Wellsprings. Prior to applying it was understood by my financial aid counselor that the only way I could attend was through financial aid. Completed the Masters in Criminal Justice Program but unable to receive my degree because a balance has been sent to a collection agency for over $200.o0 dollars. No one can explain why it was not covered under financial aid or why I was not notified prior to finishing. For anyone applying to this "school" I heavily recommend you dont. I am now enrolled here as a freshman and If I had one wish it would be that before I chose to go to this school I knew what I was getting into. This is not a place of education but a run around. I been to just about every office in all four bulidings and absolutly no one could help me with anything, for they legitimately didnt have any idea what was going on.
