Fast Train
jsarchibald June 23, 2009
This comes from my personal experience in the 12-month MIS program. If you are going to do this you should know that the program is set up in a way that makes it almost impossible to acquire all of the certifications. It is purely a course designed for those who either do not have to work, or for those who work part time. This is totally opposite of what I was told because they claim the program is designed for anyone who has to work regardless of your hours. You decide...You work full-time from 9 - 5, and then class is from 6 - 10. You only... read full review »

I started on Jan 13, 2009 at PIMA on Jan 14 our placement coordinator spoke to our class and mentioned if anyone had an issue with completing externship because of a full time employment that they would make accommodations. I explained and spoke to Michelle Mcmannis who assured me there would be no issue placing me in the evening at an extern site. I was placed at Tempe St Lukes Hospital on March 12. After completion 91.5 hours I received a phone call from the director of the Lab where I was doing externship to complete my Phlebotomy course... read full review »

Hope Driving School
Chuck June 22, 2009
Please look elsewhere. This company is completely unfair and dishonest. I bought my 12 hour-class package in 2008. Now, I finally have time to enjoy class (I'm a busy college student), and they don't want to give me what I've paid for, the 12 hours, unless if I pay 125 dollars extra. This is pure fraudulence. They say the contract is expired, so I have to pay that extra money to reactivate my contract. Also, they charged me 300 dollars last year, when the price written on the door this year is 265 dollars. This proves that... read full review »

On 5/22/09, I signed a contract for services from Langua World for ten (10) 1-hour Hindi Lessons, meeting on Tuesday & Thursdays commencing on Tuesday 5/26/09. I paid for these services in full in advance on 5/22/09. On 5/26/09, I received a phone call that the lessons were postponed to the following week. On June 1, 2009, the company still failed to render any classes. After speaking to them on the phone, it was clear that they were not going to start classes on the specific dates as stated on the signed contract. At this time, via email... read full review »

Last winter asked if I could change my degree program from "Pastoral Ministry" to "Addiction Counselor" they my counselor said yes but that it would cost $25. Approximately two months later I got a call from my financial counselor that I owed the school an amount in excess of $2500! I finally got them to reverse it but they still (after much adieu) that I would receive only $900 in my refund this year for books and incidentals. Now even that $900 has not arrived though they claim they mailed in on June 12, 2009. I was afraid... read full review »

This guy is not a good teacher. I watched him teach and the students were all confused and he would get pissed at them for not understanding. This wasn't one or two people. It was practically the entire class. I mean yelling, cussing, very rude and abusive. Not what I'd look for in an acting teacher. Also found out that most of his credentials he claims are lies. I applied to this school with the hopes of furthering my education; however, now that I am enrolled I see how wrong I was. First the school made numerous calls to me about starting classes right away and that I had to fill out a scholarship application ASAP because this was the last day that the applications would be accepted. Then I was told that they would request my transcripts for me. Well before they even had my transcripts they conditionally accepted me. I attended a 'free' seminar held by Auction Success in Chattanooga Tn. The information being presented was pretty much useless. I had been an ebay power seller and thought I might learn something new. I left the class at the first break. They were signing people up for classes for several hundred dollars at a pop. I received several statements from Clickincome for $9.95 + charges from previous months. I had several telephone conversations with the company that led me nowhere. It's been a long time since I've been there. That doesn't mean that I don't remember it as if it was yesterday. I remember being unhappy there for two years. I started at the College of Saint Scholastica in the fall of 2003. It was there that many things that I didn't like started. The first thing was that we had to share our school with nuns. Now I have nothing against nuns, but I'm not now, nor have I ever been Catholic. I feel that this enforced their religious beliefs on their students. They gave us their... read full review »

i would lie to complain about the customers that arrive at KFC and abuse the staff for doing their job, the amount of abuse i and other staff members have been given from customers is disgraceful. i would also like to say if a person is not trained to a specific standard then they are going to give bad service. i would like the people who are going to read this to think and ensure that the next time they are talking in a manner that they would not like themsleves to be spoken to, to THINK and abuse the management instead, it is not the staff members fault if chicken is not avalible at that particular time! read full review »

disgruntled June 9, 2009
I have read a lot of student reviews of Strayer which specifically seem to point to problems with financial aid or the business office areas of the "university", and of course there is some complaint about the professors. I would like to add my voice to this issue. I taught at Strayer. All of the people I taught with were intelligent, kind people who I enjoyed spending time with, although I constantly heard stories from students about the kind of problems mentioned above. I have been teaching freshmen college courses for eight year... read full review »

While the education for students is held to a decent level at Keiser University, take caution to accept employment with them. The president at the Sarasota campus has numerous charges against her with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission due to her lack of knowledge, understanding or respect for the disabled. Toronto Truck Driving School

Toronto Truck Driving School runs an ad which states, among other things, in class lessons and late model trucks. I did not receive any in class lessons. The truck was old with many malfunctions (horn, lights) They charge you per hour, telling you that each lesson is 45 minutes. The truck was never ready to go when I arrived so I was usually waiting 10-15 minutes for it. At the end of each lesson they will have you sign a sheet that states 1 hour, so you are unwittingly using up 15 minutes of your time. So if you booked for 6 lesson... read full review »
