My Son Rishabh Thakur is studying in Class III - B in DPS Nerul and has been travelling by DPS school bus for the past 3 years from our stop at spaghetti, but now the DPS has told my Son to board the bus which is 800 meters far from the original bus stop from today. I started to attend High-Tech Institute in September of 2001 for a computer networking degree. When I first went to sign up for classes they told me that the degree was accredited and I could have transfered to any other school after I graduated from High-Tech. It was all a LIE! My fiance signed up for Keiser College. They said that they walked him through the entire admissions, registration, financial aid, etc processes. When it came closer for school to start, we found that he could only get loans totaling the tuition. I repaid my college student loan in one lump sum payment within the first year after I graduated and before any interest was due. 6 years later when my credit report was pulled i order to qualify for a home loan, it showed the loan as NOT paid and accruing interest! Since then, I have retained a lawyer, submitted copies of the original canceled check as well as all applicable paperwork and the US Dept of Education has not corrected this error. I attended an orientation program for a Teaching Cert. program in Canada for an American college. I paid a deposit which stated the terms incl. tuition was due by xx date unless I withdrew. A few issues came up which ended up making it impossible for me to attend. Alberto Cabias claimed that he had paid the money to the school for fees and for additional tuition. He left the school suddenly and we discovered that although he had issued a school letter with receipt details, the letter was fraudulent. He subsequently defrauded us of more money. ECPI was a complete rip off. I went to ECPI with the hopes of pursuing a career in criminal justice. My teachers were great, I learned a lot from them. However the Administration was very lacking. I needed to get verification for my education in Colombia. In order to get the documents they required I had to travel to Colombia. The Ministry of Education in Colombia simply does not do business by mail of FAX. All original documents were delivered to WES.
