rip-off
I signed up with a salesman who came to my house and rushed me through his sales pitch. I was signing up for the LPN to RN nursing program through Excelsior College, I thought. They are not affiliated.LIE #1. I thought I was paying for an education with assistance. I paid for books and a customer service department that answers few questions (I was told a tutor would come to my house).LIE #2. I gave them my friend's name and another of her friends gave her name also. They offer a finder fee, one free test (appr$200.00). She called to check on her fider fee status, 9 months ago. She hasn't rec'd any return phone call(after several messages she left) LIE#3. I, as was my friend, was told that if we decided that we couldn't finish or it was too hard, we could get our money back(says salesman). LIE#4. There are 6 of us that have signed up for this course (i.e. books in the mail, see ya!). We are all either attending or signing up to attend our local community college because of the disgust we feel towrds this company and their lies. I'm sure that people have bought this course and have gained higher education. But, knowing now what is involved, after speaking to reps at Excelsior College, I regret to say that I and my friends have been ripped-off!
