I have a 50" rear projection TV. Approximately 3 years old at the most. It is not working, it has been broke for over one month now. Service technician and Samsung agree that it is most likely the light engine, a $1, 000 or more repair. This is about 1/2 of what we paid for the TV less than 3 years ago. There are many records of this type of failure with these units, we have placed numerous calls to Samsung all the way to the Executive Level and were told.
