I would NOT recommend Acer products. Purchased the laptop in December 2007 as a christmas gift. So far it has been sent back twice - once to have the motherboard replaced and the 2nd time because of screen issues - the screen goes completely blank. Acer never fixed the screen issue and now claims it's out of warranty so they won't replace or repair it - even with the many documented issues I have on record with them.
