I went to dealership to look at used cars. 2 sales personnel convinced me to look at new. They wrote up a bill of sales and told me that if I signed it I could go home and think about it and my finance over the weekend, and if I decide that I do not want the vehicle, they will refund my deposit and hold me to nothing. They claimed my signature is simply for them to check my credit, and so I can use the VIN number to get insurance quotes.
