Twice in the last three months I have called for a taxi to take me to the airport and had a Capital Taxi arrive. Both times, I missed the flight due to flat tires. The first time I was stuck on the side of the freeway for 45 minutes in the snow. The cab driver did not have the sense to pull the car completely off the road. Since I am a Transportation Engineer, I tried to explain the danger, to him, me, and the general public, of having the car sitting in the travel lane of a freeway.
