La Jolla Residence Club is a total scam! My husband and I purchased a timeshare from them on December 15, 2010. After going back home, we investigated the company online and realized what a rip off we had been part of. We emailed several times to inquire about our concerns and nobody replied. Therefore, while we were within our 5 day rescission period, we mailed a cancellation letter to them via FedEx.
