My mother travelled to JFK using Qatar Airways on 23rd Jan 2011. Upon check-in, the staff advised us that since her USA visa is valid only for 3 months she would have complications with the USA customs as her return date was close to visa expiration. To be able to travel we were forced to amend the return date.
