I followed the directions to claim the rebate and I received a reply from another company located in Connecticut that handles the rebates. They e-mail back to me that it takes 4-6 weeks. Finally, in February, they e-mailed me again that the rebate is in the mail. I never received it. I called them up, but is impossible to get to them. I wrote them a letter and received no response. This is my first and last experience with Motorola. Also, from the beginning this phone did not hold the charge for more than a day. Thank God it didn't break down.
