I applied for US visa and they asked me to leave my non-Canadian passport(I am not a Canadian citizen) and a prepaid Xpresspost envelop, after months of investigation they sent me an email that they had sent the passport in the Xpresspost envelop I provided them with from the Consulate in Toronto to my address in Mississauga .
