I have reconfirmed my return ticket to India, since it a stopover journey i had reconfirmed my ticket(paid ($45 for this service) for a stopover a day before in Newyork. The same was confirmed by an Emirates ticketing official. Though i have a ticket, American Airlines was not able to confirm my ticket, since they didn't receive any communication with regard to it.
