I bought a 40' Samsung LCD TV model LN-S4051D in Sept 2006 for $2000. It quit working in April 2009. The symptoms are that it tries to turn on, the red light flashes for a few times, then you hear it click off. It repeats this over and over but never turns on. After a quick Google search I discovered that MANY customers are experiencing the same issue with their Samsung LCD TV. I called Samsung customer support hotline last night only to learn that I was out of warranty and out of luck. They don't even have an authorized service... read full review »
