While departing from Paris I was stopped by security and 6 of my rings were taken from me. I was told that I could either hand them over or the police would come and I felt to concerned for missing my flight to return to NYC. I have traveled to Paris 3 times in the last year and have never had this be a problem before. I was told that they were against French laws and could be used as a weapon.
