KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) is generally known for prompt service and the quality of their buses. But unfortunately, I boarded a Volvo bus on 23rd June 2011 which was terrible (from Bangalore to Bellary). Other than "Volvo" written on its back, nothing about the bus was Volvo. The Volvo and Mercedes Benz buses which ply on other routes like Bangalore-Mumbai and Bangalore-Chennai are very good, but on the contrary, buses to Bellary are not well maintained.
