They steal housing listings from free classified sites like Craigslist, Kijiji, local newspapers and so on, dump them into a database, and charge apartment hunters $100 ($75 in Victoria BC) to search this database for a couple of months. Rental Guide does NOT ask permission of any of the landlords and property management companies who originally posted the ads on free sites.
