I purchased a pair of Clarks Sunbeat Sandals in size 5 last fall upon recommendation from a friend who is an ardent fan of these shoes. I wore my sandals for the first time today (2011 July 01) and within half hour of wearing them, the Sole disintegrated! I wore these sandals thinking that I would be wearing a comfortable pair of shoes while walking around enjoying Canada Day festivities.
