I bought the GoFlex to back up my files in case my computer crashed and so that I could store buly files on it (like pictures and music) without slowing down my computer. Unfortunately, when I hook my GoFlex back up to my laptop, it deletes the files off of my GoFlex as well so that no the files are completely gone. Am I mistaken, or is that not the whole point of having an external: So that you can store stuff on there that is not on your internal hard drive to free up space and in case your computer crashes!
