My son, who is now unemployed, incurred a high cell-phone bill due to numerous text messages that he did not have a plan for. Astronomical charges that you don't know about until it is too late! However, even though he did not have text messaging as part of his plan, it allowed him to do so, anyway! We are now trying to settle the account and he would be able to make payments towards his outstanding bill, however, they won't close the account until his outstanding balance is paid.
