On the first occasion I was appalled at the SPCA was when my domestic worker had taken her dog to the SPCA and was turned away. Her dog’s uterus had popped out. She had then taken her dog in a bus to the SPCA for treatment but was turned away because she had not had ample money. My domestic worker had not told me about this or else I would have taken the dog straight to my Vet. Eventually the dog’s uterus replaced itself and she only told me months later.
