I purchased the above product on Nover 28th, 2008 for a Christmas present. On Christmas day, it was open. Initially all seemed well but the unit indicated rechargeable battery low. So as per instructions the adapter that came with the unit was plugged into the wall and it seemed the unit indicated charging. It was noted though that both the red light (which means charging) and the green light (meaning fully charged) seemed to be on at the same time. after a point the green light went out and the red was on.
