The vehicle suffered a mechanical failure in the form of engine rocker arm mounting bolts pulling out of the head. (Dreaded 3.4 v-6) Agreed to have them repair it. Later, while adding windshield washer fluid, I noticed a reflection from the engine compartment that ultimately proved to be the remaining shaft of a coolant bleeder screw where the hex head had been sheared off.
