I have applied for a Name Change and Extension for my Sons Passport in India. My son is 5 years old and the Hyderabad Passport office has put up a Police enquiry for him. In fact i actually kept his original name but deleted the middle names to keep his name short and sweet. My son has spent 8 months out of the country and the Office is seeking a Police verification from abroad as well.
