Emergency electricians are a rip off, beware. A call out ends in financial overcharging as the electrician firstly replaces parts that are not faulty, secondly charges almost R600 for a part that retails for less than R100 at the local hardware. When complaining to the "call out company", the response is that the call-out electricians can charge whatever they want (and apparently this is law???)
