We were approached by Linda Spiller to upgrade our phone and we suggested that we would rather want to cancel the contract. We forwarded all the necessary cancellation documents per fax and confirmed with her again later explaining that we would like to port the number. Only once we contacted MTN for a new contract were we notified by Nashua that a penalty of R2622 will be payable.
