A few years ago Expedia and other online booking companies were a good deal. Now their prices are higher than or equal to booking with the hotel or airline directly. AAA rates will give you even a better price. Also booking with the hotel directly you will be able to deal with them directly if there is a problem instead of them saying "this is not booked with us" we can't help you.
