I tried to sign up to onestopdownloads.com today. They offer a $4.73 on time payment option to become a member of their site, this is for lifetime membership. I joined the site, clicked on the pay now tab and was taken to a secure payment site. Filled in the creditcard details and was told I'd joined megaflixpass.com. This was not the site I was trying to join, I'd never even heard of it before. I had paid for a 3 day membership after which I would be billed almost $40US a month on an ongoing basis.
