i had applied for the addition of my spouse name in my passport on 24th August. i was told that i will receive the passport within 3 days, all my certificates were verified by the Counter superintendent (Vishakapatnam). however when i checked the online status which said that "PLEASE FURNISH ATTESTED COPY OF MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY COMPETENT AUTHORITY, OR SWORN AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF MARRIAGE WITH COPY OF JOINT PHOTO.". when i approached the authorities they said that it means that i need to produce the original marriage... read full review »
