We bought a Dell LCD TV just over 2 years ago. Just as the warranty expired, the picture started going black and white. The colour comes back sometimes, but there's no predicting when. When we bought the TV we were told how LCDs last a long time - which they do, when made properly. Now we learn that Dell no longer produces TVs themselves because the ones they were selling when we bought were such garbage - made of parts from more than one type of TV!
