We went to United Furniture Warehouse in Winnipeg in late August, 2009 to look for a couch. They had advertised a sectional sofa for a good price, and we decided to purchase it. The salesman assured us that it would be "2 weeks, at most" before the sofa would be delivered to our home, and we thought that it was reasonable considering that they would have to order it, so we went ahead and paid the entire cost.
