I purchased an airline ticket through Expedia and was unable to use it when the time came for me to fly. I contacted them and asked for a credit and inquired about the possibility of transferring it to someone else and was told that I could. When I called a few months later to ask to transfer the ticket to my brother in another state so that he could come to see our terminally ill brother, I was told NO.
