Our jetta car has one more problem now. It smells soooo bad of mildew/mold. When looking up on the net to get rid of smell I have come across many other vw owners with the same problem. They say the sunroof drains are plugging up. The water is going into the fuse box area and down to carpet. yet no one was told about the drains needing to be cleaned out. I called the burlington dealer asking about drains, they said needs to be cleaned with maintenance.
