I had 2 cc acct's with HSBC for years. Suddenly approx 2 yrs ago they raised the int rates to 30%, so you know what that did to the payments. I started to fall behind and I contacted them to make arrangements. I was told that I had to give them access to my bank acct to be able to do a set amt each month, so I did. I was then told that they couldn't do that and I needed to send them a payment each month in the set amount so that is what I did.
