Well we got taken. "MorEnergy" aka Enbridge Gas aka Direct Energy We were told that Mor Energy was working in co-operation with the Hydro distributors ( in our case Wasaga Distribution ) to replace their old hotwater heaters. The one they would sell us on a monthly rental/ payment to own plan would be much more energy efficient and save us money in the long run etc. They would remove the old tank on behalf of Wasaga Distribution and notify them of the change over.
