Today I received a letter in the mail that my account had been closed due to inactivity. I had been with HSBC for over 2 years had paid off my credit card and kept it open for emergency purposes. Did I not only pay off my credit card, but did it on time and paid more than the minimum payment even when they decided to lower my credit line from $1100 to $300.
