I've been with fido for 5 years under prepaid plan. When i saw a promotion of a $35 wavier on activation fee, i call in to upgrade my plan to a monthly plan. To my surprise, I was told by fido representative that waiver is only valid for new subscribers, not for existing valuable clients. What a bunch of f**kheads. I told them it cost next to nothing to switch my plan. If i cancel my account, and re-subscribe as a new customer then i would qualify for the $35 wavier but that would involve more paperwork and credit check. So the moral here... read full review »
